Ella Canning serves as an Executive Recruiter for McDermott + Bull Executive Search, where she delivers a seamless experience for both clients and candidates. She supports searches across industries and ensures high-quality execution at every stage of the recruitment process.
Before joining McDermott + Bull, Ella spent three years in London as an Executive Recruiter specializing in private equity-backed businesses. She was an integral part of the team leading end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and placing senior leaders into portfolio companies of mid-market private equity funds across the UK, Europe, and the U.S.
Ella graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a bachelor’s degree in Geography and International Relations. She grew up in Vancouver, BC, where she now resides, and enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family on Vancouver Island.
