McDermott + Bull has successfully ran the executive search for a Head of Human Resources at American Business Bank (ABB), with Bob Cassidy assuming the position. In this role, Bob will serve as a critical business partner and part of ABB’s senior leadership team, leading the corporate human resources function and managing the identification, development, and implementation of company-wide HR, talent acquisition, and talent development initiatives.
Bob brings 40 years of strategic human resources leadership experience within the financial services industry. He most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer with Community Bank in Pasadena for over 11 years. Previously, Bob has held executive-level human resources positions with notable institutions including Western Asset Management and PwC. Bob received his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.
American Business Bank, headquartered in downtown Los Angeles, offers a wide range of financial services to the business marketplace. Clients include wholesalers, manufacturers, service businesses, professionals, and non-profits. The bank has seven Loan Production Offices in strategic locations including Anaheim, Irvine, Torrance, Woodland Hills, Corona, Ontario, and Long Beach.
