McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Jordan Zhu as Chief Executive Officer at Etruscan Gutters and Roofing. In this role, Jordan will be responsible for leading the company through its next phase of growth, partnering closely with the private equity sponsor and board to define and execute a strategic roadmap. He will oversee the expansion of the company’s commercial engine, implement scalable operational systems, and drive both organic growth and acquisition initiatives while maintaining Etruscan’s strong reputation for quality and customer service.

Jordan brings extensive experience leading and scaling residential services businesses through operational transformation and commercial development. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Design First Builders, where he drove significant organic revenue growth, restored profitability, and implemented KPI-driven systems to professionalize the organization. Prior to this, Jordan spent nearly two decades at CommScope, where he held multiple leadership roles across sales, product management, and international business development, managing large-scale portfolios and supporting global growth initiatives. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Winthrop University.

With more than 35 years of experience and a strong reputation across Chicago’s North Shore communities, the company specializes in roof repair, replacement, and gutter services, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and customer-focused solutions. 

CID Capital is a private equity firm based in Carmel, Indiana that focuses on lower-middle-market buyouts, primarily in industrial services, products, and distribution. Founded in 1981, the firm partners closely with existing management teams to support growth through operational guidance and strategic resources. CID has made 100+ investments across a diverse set of industries and recently closed its oversubscribed Fund IV at $250M. Their portfolio spans companies in residential and commercial services, distribution, and light manufacturing.
