McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Michelle Woodhill as Chief Executive Officer at The Priority Center. In this role, Michelle will be responsible for leading the organization’s strategic direction, overseeing programs and operations, and driving philanthropic initiatives that support The Priority Center’s mission of ending the generational cycle of trauma. She will work closely with the Board of Directors and the senior leadership team to ensure high-quality service delivery and long-term organizational sustainability.
Michelle brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and development strategy, with deep expertise in healthcare philanthropy. She most recently served as Chief Development Officer at both Illumination Health + Home and Tower Cancer Research Foundation, where she led major gift campaigns, foundation relations, national outreach efforts, and special events. Previously, she served as Chief Development Officer at the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, where she established a comprehensive fundraising program, secured the organization’s largest historical six-figure gifts, and developed national major gift and pharmaceutical partnerships. Throughout her career, she has built and scaled high-performing fundraising programs, bringing keen insight into California’s diverse corporate and private philanthropic landscape, as well as other regions. Michelle holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
Based in Orange County, California, The Priority Center provides early intervention and mental health services to prevent and treat childhood trauma. Through evidence-based programs, the organization works to strengthen families, support at-risk youth, and build safer communities.
