McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ingrid Milne as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at National Audubon Society. Ingrid will lead the finance and accounting department of the organization working closely with the centers and chapters nationally. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, she will provide strategic and operational direction to the company’s finance and accounting, technology, and legal initiatives, while leading and developing a team of approximately 40 people. Ingrid will assist the CEO and executive team in establishing financial strategies to ensure attainment of the organization’s objectives. Ingrid is a seasoned executive finance leader, with broad international experience working in the nonprofit and media sectors, focused on growing global mission-focused organizations. Prior to joining National Audubon Society, she served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Save the Children Federation. Ingrid has also served as Chief Financial and Operating Officer of SeriousFun Children’s Network and spent her early career working with Deloitte, Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler, and the British Broadcasting Corporation. She is a UK Chartered Public Accountant and graduated from the University of Kent with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry.  The National Audubon Society protects birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow, throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. Located in the United States and incorporated in 1905, the National Audubon Society is one of the oldest of such organizations in the world.  This executive search was completed by McDermott + Bull Partner Sue Waterbury and Senior Research Associate Josh Nichols.
