McDermott + Bull has placed Erin Estelle as Chief Marketing Officer at Valley Strong Credit Union. Erin will play a key role in shaping the future of the organization and will be a visible, strategic leader, playing a critical role in Valley Strong’s evolution through organic growth, market and product expansions, and a committed M&A strategy. She will lead the entire marketing function in building upon the credit union’s legacy of community and member service, with a view toward optimal service delivery operating at the confluence of technological innovation and human interaction.

Erin brings 15 years of retail marketing experience with a foundation built on the creative side and a strong ability to align data with a strategic creative strategy. She most recently served as the Head of Marketing for the Raley’s grocery chain. Prior to that, she served as the lead marketer for 99 Cents Only Stores. In both instances, she led market segmentation initiatives that have positioned her well to address Valley Strong’s growing and diversifying customer base across its expanding geographic footprint. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University, with a bachelor’s degree in both broadcast journalism and public relations.

Founded in 1938, Valley Strong Credit Union has $3.2 billion in assets and serves its nearly 200,000 members throughout the Central Valley through 27 branches.
