McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Tracey Costikyan Alexander as Chief of Development and Communications at Care For the Homeless (CFH). In this critical role, Tracey will lead the integrated strategy and day-to-day operations across fundraising, communications, and outreach. As a member of the executive leadership team, she will collaborate closely with the CEO and Board to amplify the organization’s mission, build brand awareness, and secure the funding needed to support CFH’s growth.
Tracey is an award-winning nonprofit leader with more than two decades of frontline fundraising and strategic communications experience. She most recently served as Executive Director at Children in Conflict, where she led a successful international merger and tripled revenue in under 18 months. Prior to that, she held senior development roles at the Tourette Association of America, March of Dimes, and JDRF. She began her career in marketing and advertising and has since raised over $120 million in philanthropic support across her tenure. Tracey earned her MBA from Sawyer Business School and completed additional studies at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Since its founding in 1985, Care For the Homeless has provided medical, mental, and behavioral health care services to New York City’s homeless population. With a network spanning 25 healthcare sites across all five boroughs, the organization partners with shelters, soup kitchens, and assessment centers to deliver high-quality care to those most in need.
