McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Tyler McCormick as Chief of Staff & Strategy at BronxWorks. In this role, Tyler will lead the organization’s strategic planning process in collaboration with executive leadership, program teams, and the Board of Directors. He will establish and oversee evaluation and quality improvement frameworks across programs, guide vision-setting initiatives at the departmental level, and leverage data to drive continuous improvement and organizational learning.

Tyler brings over 15 years of experience advancing equity-driven, community-based initiatives within New York City’s human services sector. Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy and Integration Officer at Phipps Neighborhoods, where he led strategic planning, evaluation, fundraising, and systems alignment efforts across the organization. Prior to that, he held senior roles at the Youth Development Institute, CAMBA, Inc., and the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development. In addition to his leadership experience, Tyler has held academic appointments at NYU and CUNY. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College at Columbia University, master’s degrees from Bank Street College and CUNY, and is currently completing a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation at NYU Steinhardt.
