McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Melissa Vigil as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Consolidated Community Credit Union (CCCU). Melissa will play a key role as a visible strategic and operational leader while the company undergoes reorganization to drive efficient operations and allow for increased scale. Of critical importance, her remit will include the alignment of the credit union’s strategy and corporate culture. She will oversee all operational departments, including branch and back-office operations, deposit and card operations, branch security, disaster recovery plans, vendor management, human resources, enterprise risk management, and compliance.

Melissa brings over 17 years of operations and human resources leadership experience to CCCU. Most recently, she spent 10 years at Northwest Credit Union, where she held various titles including COO, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and Human Resources Director of the $1.9 billion company. Melissa earned a B.S. in public health + community health education from Oregon State University, and an MBA at George Fox University.

CCCU has over $500 million in assets and a total team of 80 employees, operating from four full-service locations from Portland to Hood River, Oregon. The company has been named a top credit union by S&P Global and one of the healthiest credit unions nationally by DepositAccounts.
