McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Tom Baker as the Chief Operations Officer for Bank of the Pacific. As COO, Tom will direct the overall administration for the bank. He will be responsible for their operational policies and serve as the primary liaison with the examiners on all operational-related matters.

Tom has 20 years of experience as an operations and technology leader within the financial services industry. Prior to joining Bank of Pacific, he spent nearly 10 years with Bank of America/Countrywide Financial where he led a 750 person technology team responsible for building core systems for the mortgage business. Most recently, Tom served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer with Pasadena-based $3B Community Bank prior to its sale to Citizens Business Bank.

Bank of the Pacific has $1B in assets and its footprint expands throughout 16 branches and six commercial banking centers in Washington and Oregon.
