McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Joe Bentley as Chief Technology Officer at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. Joe will be responsible for leading all aspects of Panasonic’s software, hardware, and systems engineering teams, as well as managing cloud, information technology, and security. He will be a key member of the company’s executive team, driving continued digital innovation for airlines’ entertainment solutions worldwide.
Joe most recently served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Hulu, where he led a 700-person global organization. During his tenure, Hulu doubled subscribers to over 30 million, becoming the largest digital multichannel video programming distributor in the U.S. Prior to Hulu, Joe was Vice President of Software Engineering at GoPro, and earlier, Director of Digital Products at Amazon, where he launched Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV stick and led the development of the award-winning Voice Search through Alexa.
