McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Savitree Pestano as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Samaritan Daytop Village. In this role, Savitree will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to strengthen and reshape the organization’s finance function, implementing best practices and scalable processes to support continued growth. She will also collaborate with executive leadership to drive strategic financial planning, optimize organizational performance, and support long-term organizational initiatives.
Savitree brings over 10 years of financial leadership experience within complex nonprofit healthcare organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Harmony Health Care Long Island, where she led financial strategy, forecasting, and regulatory compliance for a multi-site organization. Prior to that, she served as Associate Chief Financial Officer at The Institute for Community Living, where she oversaw finance operations, budgeting, and reporting across a large, multi-entity organization. Earlier in her tenure at ICL, she served as Controller of Budget and Treasury. Savitree earned an Executive Master of Science in Health Systems from Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehman College.
Samaritan Daytop Village is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization providing comprehensive health and human services, including substance use disorder treatment, mental health services, and supportive housing programs. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families through compassionate, integrated care.
