McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Brian Somers as Director of Business Development for Aerospace + Defense at Optical Zonu Corporation. Brian will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for driving business development efforts, focusing on expanding the company’s presence within the Department of Defense and defense primes, while managing key customer relationships to drive growth.
Brian brings over 20 years of experience in business development and leadership roles within the defense and military sectors. Most recently, he served as Business Development Director for ALL.SPACE Networks Limited and Cubic Defense, where he led sales efforts for U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps programs. Prior to his work in business development, Brian held various leadership positions within the U.S. Marine Corps.
Optical Zonu Corporation is a Los Angeles-based designer and manufacturer of radio frequency over fiber solutions. The company works closely with strategic partners to deliver advanced solutions for telecommunications, defense, and aerospace sectors, reinforcing its position as a leader in the global market.
