McDermott + Bull has placed Lauren Chiu as Head of Product Development at Valley Strong Credit Union. Lauren will be called upon to define a robust product design philosophy and drive creative end-to-end new product development, including implementing, pricing, and managing the delivery of consumer, commercial, and small business products.
Lauren brings 17 years of full life cycle product development experience in the payments and financial services space in both B2B and B2C capacities. She most recently served as Vice President of Merchant Services at JPMorgan Chase, where she was embedded into the Wholesale Payments group within the Merchant Services business. Before JPMorgan, she worked with both Mastercard and American Express. Lauren earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University and her MBA from Fordham University.
Founded in 1938, Valley Strong Credit Union has $3.2 billion in assets and serves its nearly 200,000 members throughout the Central Valley through 27 branches.
