McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Jan Voitehovich as Senior Associate at Grounded Capital. Jan will play an important role in the execution of the company’s real estate investment strategy, especially across design and construction. He will contribute to the development, management, and placemaking of Grounded’s real estate holdings.
Jan brings extensive expertise in real estate investment and urban development. Most recently, he worked as a developer with Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate, originating new institutional and multifamily projects across the US. Prior to Edgemoor, Jan was an architect with VCBO Architecture, designing higher-ed and medical facilities in Utah. His background as a trained architect, combined with critical experience in financial structuring and project management, position him perfectly for this role.
Grounded Capital, headquartered in San Francisco, is known for its innovative approach to investment, focusing on creating sustainable and regenerative urban environments. As an SEC-registered investment advisor, Grounded Capital develops strategies to pursue ideas and solve problems primarily through direct investments in operating companies, agriculture, forests, and real estate.
