Sun-Sun de Swaan serves as a Partner at McDermott + Bull and is part of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, based in New York, NY. She works with clients across the sector, including firms involved with investment, development, financing, and property management. She has experience in a variety of functions across the industry, shaping her expertise and ability to deliver best-in-class talent to clients across the board.
Sun-Sun brings over 20 years of real estate experience and has over a decade of experience leading executive search in the real estate industry. Prior to executive search, she served as the Director of Acquisitions for a leading real estate investment and management company. Sun-Sun acquired principal-side investment and asset management experience during her tenures with two hospitality firms. At the start of her career, she worked as a Senior Consultant providing transaction advisory services to lenders and investors.
Sun-Sun received her Bachelor of Science in business administration from University of California, Berkeley and her MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and cooking.
