McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Joshua Sledge as the Senior Director of Incubation at Filene Research Institute. Josh will develop, plan, and manage Filene’s incubation initiatives and funding within the credit union system. He will be charged with arming industry leaders with innovative ideas, early-stage concepts, and promising technologies that solve real-world problems credit unions and consumers are facing.
Josh joins Filene from Financial Health Network (formerly the Center for Financial Services Innovation), a national nonprofit think tank working to improve the financial health of Americans. Earlier in his career he spent four years as a Senior Investment Analyst at Prudential Financial. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and his master’s degree in liberal studies from Northwestern University.
Founded in 1989, Filene is an American credit union and consumer finance think tank headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. The company works to strengthen organizations through cutting-edge research, incubation opportunities to test and scale solutions, advisory services to help organizations implement innovation, and host communities and events to connect a variety of leaders to improve financial well-being.
