McDermott + Bull has placed Heather Sanchez as the Senior Vice President, Business Banking Group Manager for Farmers & Merchants Bank. This role was newly created as the bank sought to better serve their commercial clients. Heather will drive the strategic buildout of a true middle market commercial bank.
Heather joins Farmers & Merchants Bank from BBVA where she served as one the bank’s Southern California market executives. At BBVA, her team served the needs of lower middle market and middle market businesses across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. With a foundation in credit built at U.S. Bank, Heather brings range in her technical and leadership competencies. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management.
Founded in Long Beach in 1907, Farmers & Merchants Bank provides white-glove service to clients at 25 branches from San Clemente to Santa Barbara, as well as through robust online and mobile banking platforms. The bank offers commercial and small business banking, business loan programs, home loans, and a robust offering of consumer retail banking products, including checking, savings, and youth accounts.
