McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Carmen Rogers as Vice President of Finance at the Altman Foundation. In this role, Carmen will serve as a strategic advisor to the Foundation’s President and Board of Directors, overseeing financial strategy, accounting, investment coordination, operations, human resources, and enterprise risk management. She will be responsible for strengthening financial stewardship, enhancing organizational effectiveness, advancing technology initiatives, and supporting the Foundation’s long-term philanthropic mission through sound governance and operational excellence.

Carmen brings over 25 years of nonprofit finance and operations leadership across private foundations and mission-driven organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Administrative Officer for Robertson Foundation, Tiger Foundation, and Aotearoa Foundation, where she led finance and administration for three philanthropic organizations. In this role, she oversaw strategic financial planning, budgeting, audit, investment committee support, grants management, human resources, technology modernization, and organizational operations. Earlier in her career, Carmen served as Deputy Chief Operating and Finance Officer at The Atlantic Philanthropies, where she helped manage financial and operational functions during the organization’s strategic spend-down, and held leadership roles with the Fund for the City of New York. She earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Miami University.
