McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Marilyn Jacob as Vice President, Outpatient Services at Samaritan Daytop Village. Marilyn will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s expansive portfolio of outpatient and community-based programs, including 19 sites licensed by OASAS, OMH, DOE, and DOH. In this role, she will lead strategy and operations across program delivery, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality improvement, while supporting performance metrics, service integration, and long-term growth initiatives.
Marilyn brings more than two decades of leadership experience in behavioral health, with deep expertise in program development, clinical operations, and systems transformation. She most recently served as Director of Youth Programs at NAMI-NYC, where she designed and launched a comprehensive initiative to expand peer-led mental health services for adolescents. Prior to that, she held multiple senior leadership roles at The Jewish Board, including Senior Director of Implementation & Program Change Management. Earlier in her career, Marilyn held clinical and administrative leadership roles at organizations including New York Psychotherapy & Counseling Center, Path, Inc., and Jewish Family & Children’s Services. She holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University, a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.
