McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Marcia Buchholz as Vice President, People and Culture at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Marcia will provide strategic leadership to achieve the commitments, goals, and vision for SAIT’s strategic plan. As a member of the executive management team, she will collaborate with leadership, faculty, and staff across the institution, along with key external stakeholders, to drive SAIT’s people objectives and foster a culture valuing people as its greatest strength.
Marcia brings a wealth of experience in human resources and strategic planning, having previously served as the Vice President, Human Resources at the University of British Columbia and the Associate Vice-President, Human Resources at the University of Calgary. Her background also includes a significant tenure as a Senior Managing Consultant in Strategy and Business Transformation with IBM.
