McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Cheri Plett as the Director of Training at Valley Strong Credit Union. Cheri will be responsible over the entire training team that leads onboarding and ongoing training of employees at all levels of the organization. Valley Strong believes in a culture of ongoing coaching and development, and Cheri’s leadership will be essential in ensuring this culture is pervasive throughout the organization.
Cheri brings more than 20 years of teaching, training, and leadership development experience. Prior to joining Valley Strong, she served as the Senior Talent and Leadership Development Partner at AltaOne Federal Credit Union, a role she has held since 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College, her master’s degree in educational technology from Pepperdine University, and her Ed.D. in organizational leadership from Grand Canyon University.
