McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Kristine E. Torres-Lockhart, MD, FASAM, as Chief Medical Officer at Phoenix House. In this role, Kristine will develop and implement a comprehensive clinical vision, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance. She will lead the creation of new programs, collaborate with the executive team to integrate clinical strategies with organizational goals, and oversee clinical staff management, budgeting, and community engagement.

Kristine  is a seasoned physician with extensive experience in addiction medicine, internal medicine, and clinical leadership. She most recently served as Program Director for the Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center and held roles such as Associate Program Director and Founder of the Addiction Consult Service. Her expertise spans the development of clinical programs, addiction treatment, and quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Torres-Lockhart earned her Doctor of Medicine with honors from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed an Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Montefiore Health System.
