McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Alexandra Francis as Executive Vice President of Supportive Housing and Homeless Services at BronxWorks. In this executive leadership role, Alexandra will oversee a $70 million portfolio and lead approximately 700 employees across key service areas including Family Shelters, Adult Homeless Services, Foster Care Prevention, and Supportive Housing. She will drive strategic planning, ensure program compliance, manage crisis response, and represent BronxWorks in advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Alexandra is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in social services, program management, and leadership. Most recently, she served as Chief Program Officer at Lantern Community Services, managing 17 supportive housing sites and three DHS shelter programs with a combined budget exceeding $40 million. Prior to that, she held progressively senior roles at the Center for Urban Community Services, including Deputy Chief Program Officer and Program Director for the Rikers Island Single Stop initiative. Throughout her career, she has led DEIB initiatives, built strategic partnerships, and championed quality, compliance, and innovation in service delivery. Alexandra holds a Master of Social Work in Organizational Management and Leadership from the Silberman School of Social Work at CUNY Hunter College, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from New York University.
