McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Chad Bystedt as Chief Financial Officer at Highland Commercial Roofing. Chad will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for leading the company’s finance, accounting, and administrative functions during a pivotal phase of growth. He will play a key role in developing scalable infrastructure, overseeing ERP implementation, and guiding M&A strategy and integration.
Chad brings over 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience spanning Big 4 public accounting, Fortune 500 subsidiaries, and PE-backed companies. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at KDC Construction, where he co-led a fivefold revenue expansion and modernized the financial and operational infrastructure across ten operating divisions. Prior to that, Chad held roles at CIS Consultants, ANZ Banking Group, Behr Paint (a subsidiary of Masco Corporation), and Deloitte. He holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School in Australia and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
