McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Abraham Sabbagh as Chief Financial Officer at Biogas Engineering. In this role, Abraham will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, including capital markets initiatives, project finance structuring, and scaling financial operations to support high-growth infrastructure development. He will partner closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Gautam Arora, to drive strategic planning, oversee FP&A, and build a world-class finance function that supports complex, project-based execution.
Abraham brings decades of executive leadership experience across renewable energy, EPC, and global infrastructure environments. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Solar Optimum, where he enhanced project profitability, improved financial reporting accuracy, and optimized working capital. Prior to that, he held CFO roles at Simple Solar Industries and Erus Holdings, where he was later promoted to CEO. Earlier in his career, Abraham held executive leadership roles at Ecolog International and served as CFO across multiple EPC organizations. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
