McDermott + Bull has been engaged to lead the search for the University of Saskatchewan’s Dean, College of Kinesiology. This search will be led by McDermott + Bull Principal Alex Verdecchia and Search Consultant Alina Ivanets.
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) is one of Canada’s top research-intensive medical doctoral universities and is home to world-leading research of global importance. More than 26,000 students from over 125 countries study at USask. 130+ academic programs are offered through the university’s two campuses, 13 schools and colleges, and four graduate schools.
The College of Kinesiology (College) includes USask Rec, providing the College with many unique educational and research opportunities. The College and its leadership are closely involved with Huskie Athletics, an important element of the university and the surrounding community. With almost 800 students, the College offers a breadth of programs covering areas such as exercise physiology, gross anatomy, biomechanics, motor learning and control, growth and development, psychology, and ethics. Students in the College benefit from excellent facilities and faculty that contribute to a dynamic and engaging educational experience.
Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Dean, College of Kinesiology provides strategic and innovative leadership to the College as its chief academic and administrative officer.
