McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Mark Christian as Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer at American Business Bank. In this role, Mark will be instrumental in molding the bank’s future and will be a visible strategic and operational leader, managing all technology and operations teams, including information services, deposit operations, vendor management, facilities, project management, risk and compliance.
Mark brings nearly 40 years of operations and technology leadership experience within the banking industry. He joins American Business Bank from Denver-based InBank where he served as Chief Operations Officer for the past year. Previously he spent over 20 years with Pacific Western Bank in California, serving in executive leadership roles managing all bank operations and technology as the institution executed a rapid-growth strategy, scaling by over $25 billion in assets.
American Business Bank, headquartered in downtown Los Angeles, offers a wide range of financial services to the business marketplace. Clients include wholesalers, manufacturers, service businesses, professionals, and non-profits. The bank has seven Loan Production Offices in strategic locations including Anaheim, Irvine, Torrance, Woodland Hills, Corona, Ontario, and Long Beach.
