McDermott + Bull has successfully placed William “Zach” McDonald as General Manager at APP Jet Center. In this role, Zach will lead the company’s flagship Fort Pierce, Florida facility, overseeing all facets of operations including aviation services, real estate leasing, safety, customer experience, restaurant operations, and community engagement. Reporting directly to the CEO, he will focus on maximizing fuel sales, enhancing safety protocols, and driving long-term commercial growth.
Zach brings over a decade of progressive leadership experience across FBO operations, business development, and team management. He most recently served as General Manager at Sheltair Aviation, where he delivered significant revenue gains and improved lease occupancy through pricing strategy and operational excellence. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at TAC Air, Skyport Aviation, and Winter Haven Municipal Airport. Zach began his aviation career in line operations and also served as a Loadmaster in the United States Air Force Reserves. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Business Management from Troy University and an Associate degree in Aviation Operations from the Community College of the Air Force.
