McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Michael Ralph as Senior Vice President, Commercial Team Leader at Timberland Bank. In this role, Michael will lead the bank’s commercial lending efforts in the Pierce County market, overseeing a team of high-potential lenders and supporting Timberland’s strategic growth objectives in the South Sound region. He will guide market expansion, mentor talent, and strengthen the bank’s position across C&I, CRE, and construction lending segments.
Michael brings more than 30 years of commercial banking experience across regional and community institutions in the Pacific Northwest. He most recently served as Senior Relationship Manager at Banner Bank, where he managed and grew a portfolio of C&I and real estate clients. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Sound Community Bank, First Interstate Bank, and U.S. Bank, where he led lending teams, delivered strong production results, and played a key role in talent development, credit training, and portfolio growth. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from Seattle Pacific University, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.
