McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Dan Ryan as Senior Vice President, Senior Lending Officer at Savings Bank of Mendocino County. Dan will report to the Chief Banking Officer and will oversee the Bank’s commercial, small business, residential real estate, and consumer lending functions. He will play a key role in shaping portfolio strategy, strengthening client relationships, and driving balanced loan and deposit growth while partnering closely with the executive leadership team to support the Bank’s long-term strategic objectives.
Dan brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial banking, credit administration, portfolio management, and financial leadership. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer at Poppy Bank, where he helped support the Bank’s expansion by scaling lending operations while maintaining disciplined credit oversight. Prior to this role, Dan spent nearly two decades with Tri Counties Bank, holding leadership positions across finance, internal audit, credit risk, and commercial banking. He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from California State University, Chico, and earned a Graduate Banking Degree in the Financial Management track from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
