McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Lalu Prasad as VP, General Manager at RoadGuard, a division of GeoStabilization International. In this role, Lalu will lead strategic growth and full P&L oversight for the RoadGuard business unit. He will oversee field operations, project delivery, and integration efforts across a growing national footprint while driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Lalu brings more than 20 years of global experience in industrial operations, business transformation, and strategic leadership. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at National Railway Equipment, where he led a turnaround resulting in 90% revenue growth. Prior to that, he spent two decades at Wabtec Corporation, formerly GE Transportation, where he advanced through a range of leadership roles, including Senior Director of Global Services Operations. Lalu holds an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala.

RoadGuard, a high-growth organization specializing in roadside safety barriers and infrastructure protection solutions, is a business unit of GeoStabilization International (GSI). RoadGuard is composed of five companies: Adarand, Ideal Fencing, Mohegan Associated Inc., RailCo, and Road Safety Systems, bringing together more than 100 years of combined experience. GSI is a portfolio company of the private equity sponsor Leonard Green Partners.
