Happy “New Year”!
I’ve long believed that the business year really starts the day after Labor Day. So many are checked out in the summer and, really, the business year tracks the school year in a lot of ways.
Also, the Fall is when many businesses are doing their strategic planning, and in my mind, strategy is the beginning of the year, not the end.
So Happy New Year! I hope your year is highly successful.
One update: in addition to my Relationship Stories, I’ll soon be initiating a new communication idea called “What Keeps You on Top”, an on-going series of messages regarding some key priorities that can help you maintain your career (and life) momentum. I look forward to your feedback.
Of course, please think of me if you or companies you know are adding strategic new talent to your leadership, either permanent or interim.
Thanks very much!
