Brandon Biegenzahn

President, Executive Search

Brandon Biegenzahn serves as President at McDermott + Bull and leads the firm’s Financial Services Practice, based in Irvine, CA. As President, he leads the strategic buildout and development of the firm’s team of executive search Managing Directors and Partners. As lead of the firm’s Financial Services Practice, he is a partner to an array of financial services firms, including investment banks, commercial banks, private banks, credit unions, asset managers, institutional investors, and fintech companies.

Brandon is a corporate attorney by trade having practiced with Buchalter Nemer and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton in their corporate finance departments. As corporate counsel, he advised his clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, asset-based financing, and real estate property purchase and sale transactions. Brandon is a frequent guest lecturer on the topics of leadership and career development for the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Executive MBA program and the Penn State Dickinson School of Law. 

Brandon received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and his Juris Doctorate from Penn State. He currently sits on the Mission Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and he is a member of the California Coast Chapter of YPO. He lives in Coto de Caza, California with his wife, Alexa, and their sons, Bowen and Beckett.
