McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ian Lang as Chief Executive Officer at Tourette Association of America. In this role, Ian will lead the organization’s strategic vision and operational execution, overseeing national programs, fundraising, partnerships, advocacy, and organizational growth initiatives. He will work closely with the Board of Directors and leadership team to strengthen the organization’s impact, expand access to services and support, and advance awareness and research efforts nationwide.
Ian brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience across behavioral health, public health, nonprofit management, and strategic growth. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health, where he led a multi-year strategic plan that increased revenue by 250%, secured $3.5 million in seed funding for a behavioral health institute, and expanded the nationally recognized BRYT program to over 300 schools across multiple states. Earlier in his career, Ian held leadership positions with Care New England, HealthSource RI, The Providence Center, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where he led complex operational, fundraising, advocacy, and organizational transformation initiatives across healthcare and public sector systems. Ian earned his MBA with honors from the University of Rhode Island and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College.
Tourette Association of America is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Tourette syndrome and tic disorders through awareness, advocacy, research, and support programs. The organization works to advance understanding, provide resources to individuals and families, and drive progress in treatment and scientific discovery.
