McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Diana La Point as Chief Marketing Officer at First U.S. Community Credit Union (First U.S.). In this role, Diana will report directly to the CEO and will play an integral part in bringing to life the growth strategy of First U.S through a holistic brand, community, and digital marketing plan.

Diana La Point brings over 22 years of marketing and communications experience within the financial services industry. She most recently served  as Vice President of Marketing at Golden 1 Credit Union, where she led brand, product marketing, paid media marketing, creative, and go-to-market strategy. Diana brings depth of experience within community-centric financial institutions in the Sacramento region, previously serving in marketing leadership roles with First Northern Bank and American River Bank. Diana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from University of San Diego.

For more than 85 years, First U.S. Community Credit Union has served the business and personal needs of residents within 12 Northern California counties, as well as federal employees throughout California. First U.S. was the first credit union to make the list of Sacramento’s top 25 SBA lenders. The credit union has assets of more than $530 million and serves 27,000 members with two Sacramento locations in addition to offices in Rocklin, Auburn, Gold River, and Grass Valley.
