McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Monique Weekes as Director of Finance at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC). Monique will report to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and will be responsible for leading all critical finance and accounting functions, accounts payable/receivable, staff allocations, grants administration, and Board reporting. 

Monique brings nearly two decades of finance leadership experience, most recently serving as Deputy Director of Finance Operations at Children’s Aid Society. Prior to that, she held the position of Business Manager at Volunteers of America. Her extensive experience managing finance teams and overseeing critical finance functions will greatly contribute to NMIC’s mission and operations.

Founded in 1979, NMIC is a leading community-based, not-for-profit organization with over 140 staff members, primarily serving upper Manhattan and the Bronx. The organization is dedicated to catalyzing positive change through comprehensive services that support individuals and families in their paths to self-sufficiency.
