McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Angela Walsh as First Vice President of Loan Documentation Officer and Counsel at Farmers & Merchants (F&M) Bank of Long Beach. In this role, Angela will serve as the Bank’s chief commercial lending officer with respect to loan documentation and structure, advising on loan transactions and corresponding documentation, as well as managing outside counsel, as needed. Angela brings nearly 30 years of diverse legal experience, inclusive of transactional law and commercial loan documentation. She joins F&M from Orange County-based law firm, Wesierski & Zurek, where she supported both commercial real estate transactions and litigation. Previously, Angela spent 17 years as in-house counsel for California First National Bancorp, leading both transaction law and litigation for the institution. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. Founded in Long Beach in 1907 by C.J. Walker, F&M Bank provides white-glove service to clients at 25 branches from San Clemente to Santa Barbara, as well as through online and mobile banking platforms.
