McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ron Hamm as President + Chief Operating Officer at HealthPlan Data System (HDS). As a member of the senior leadership team, Ron will be a key contributor in helping lead the organization through its next critical growth phase, which will include ongoing input into the commercialization process, priority setting, and the creation of a client implementation playbook.
Prior to joining HealthPlan Data System, Ron had a distinguished 25-year career leading sales and commercial operations for established and ground-floor, high-growth organizations. He has a broad, extensive, and metrically driven understanding of operations, sales, and marketing. Ron has repeatedly succeeded in guiding sizable, cross-functional teams in the attainment of record-setting results. He is an expert presenter, negotiator, and businessperson who is able to forge solid relationships with strategic partners and build consensus across multiple organizational levels.
HealthPlan Data Solutions was established in 2010 by a team of pharmacists and IT professionals who saw a need for a more objective, fact-based approach to managing pharmacy benefit costs. The HDS technology platform is about more than PBM auditing, comprehensive claims reviews, and cost-containment. The company strives to deliver total, near real-time transparency in the pharmacy distribution channel with data-driven tools that promote accuracy and enable payers, PBMs, and government agencies to manage their pharmacy benefit more proactively and eliminate errors and overspending.
