McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Avi Demirdjian as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer at Provident Bank. In this role, Avi will further the Bank’s overall technology and solutions philosophy, leading all internal IT infrastructure and operations including core applications, network services, technology support, and information security.
Avi brings over 23 years of technology leadership experience within the banking industry. He joins Provident Bank from KPMG where he most recently led cybersecurity, information security, and technology risk projects for enterprise clients. Previously, Avi spent 20 years with Pacific Western Bank as Senior Vice President, Director of Information Technology as the organization scaled to over $20 billion in assets. Avi received his bachelor’s degree in information technology from National University and holds multiple information security certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, and CIPP/US.
With over $1.3 billion in total assets and 13 retail banking centers, Provident is the largest independent community bank headquartered in Riverside County, California, and has been serving the financial needs of its community since 1956. Provident’s community banking operations primarily consist of accepting deposits from customers and businesses within the communities surrounding its full-service offices and investing those funds in single-family, multi-family, commercial real estate, construction, commercial business, consumer, and other loans.
