McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Scott Corning as Vice President, Americas at Rayner Surgical Group Ltd. Scott will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the company’s strategic initiatives, including driving growth and profitability across Canada, the United States, and Latin America. He will collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to implement strategic plans, expand market reach, and execute a series of product launches including next-generation premium IOLs and capital equipment.

Prior to joining Rayner, Scott served as Senior Vice President, Commercial at Ocular Therapeutix, where he led all commercial functions, contributing significantly to the company’s growth from a startup to a publicly traded entity. Before that, he was the Global Marketing Director at Alcon Laboratories, managing major ophthalmic brands and overseeing international product management teams. Scott’s extensive background in strategic leadership and his deep understanding of the ophthalmic market have consistently driven revenue growth and market expansion.
