Brandon Biegenzahn
President, Executive Search
Brandon Biegenzahn serves as President of McDermott + Bull and chairs the firm’s Financial Services Practice. He is responsible for the firm’s continued growth and expansion while advising boards of directors and executive leadership teams on executive search, CEO succession, and executive assessment. Brandon’s clients include banks, credit unions, investment banks, asset managers, institutional investors, fintech companies, and family offices.
Prior to joining McDermott + Bull, Brandon practiced corporate law at Buchalter and Sheppard Mullin, where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, asset-based financing, and complex commercial real estate transactions. His legal background provides clients with a unique perspective on corporate governance, board dynamics, succession planning, and executive leadership.
Brandon is a frequent speaker on executive leadership, CEO succession, and talent strategy. He has served as a guest lecturer for the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Executive MBA Program and Penn State Dickinson Law, and regularly presents to boards of directors, executive leadership teams, and industry associations on leadership and organizational effectiveness.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and his Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson Law. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Providence Mission Hospital Foundation and is a member of the California Coast Chapter of YPO. Brandon lives in Southern California with his wife, Alexa, and their two sons, Bowen and Beckett.
