McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Jyoti Shetty as the Senior Director of Information Technology for Geron Corporation. Reporting to the Vice President of Systems and Facilities Operations, Jyoti and her team will be responsible for evolving the IT department to support Phase 3 clinical trials and commercial development. She will be instrumental in ensuring Geron’s technology investments are aligned with all key business and IT objectives.
Prior to joining Geron, Jyoti was the Director of Information Technology Applications at Nektar Therapeutics and the Associate Director of Information Technology R+D Applications at Pharmacyclics. She brings over 20 years of diversified IT experience driving solutions for clinical stage and commercialized organizations. Jyoti’s strong work ethic and expertise in IT will play an integral role in maximizing Geron’s business functions as they move toward commercialization.
Geron is a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and potential commercialization of a first-in-class telomerase inhibitor, imetelstat, and hematologic myeloid malignancies. Imetelstat is a novel, first-in-class telomerase inhibitor exclusively owned by Geron and is being developed in hematologic myeloid malignancies.
