McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Racquel Vasquez as the Vice President of Healthcare Finance & Strategy at Project Renewal. Racquel will lead the strategic planning, operations, finance, and compliance for all healthcare services across various settings and housing programs. She will partner with the Chief Medical Officer to integrate healthcare services across the company’s offerings, enhancing care delivery to Project Renewal’s clients.
Racquel most recently served as AVP of Quality and Performance at Med-Metrix, where she spearheaded transformative quality and auditing programs and directed the strategic implementation of significant revenue cycle management projects. Prior, she was the Director of Revenue Cycle, managing substantial revenue cycle operations and achieving notable financial recoveries and operational efficiencies for the organization.
Since 1967, Project Renewal has been a pivotal force in New York City’s efforts to end homelessness, offering health, homes, and jobs through innovative, integrated services. With a staff of over 1000 and a $130 million annual budget, Project Renewal serves more than 12,000 individuals with healthcare annually and provides housing for over 3,900 homeless New Yorkers each year.
