McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Matthew Pearce as Vice President of Fraud at Green Dot Corporation. In this role, Matthew will drive strategy and delivery of excellence in fraud practices to add value and support to the organization’s product and business lines.
Matthew brings deep experience in fraud and risk operations within diverse financial services organizations. He joins Green Dot from digital bank and fintech, Varo Bank, where he oversaw all fraud strategy and operations across the company’s multiple business lines, including debit products, credit cards, and lending. Prior to Varo, he served as both Head of Risk and Relationship Management of Strategic Partnerships with fintech partner bank, WebBank, and Head of Retail Fraud Operations for JPMorgan Chase’s global debit and credit card businesses. Matthew received his Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University and his Bachelor of Science, Economics from the University of Utah.
