Julia Markward serves as Director of Recruitment at McDermott + Bull, based in Chicago, IL. She leads the firm’s recruiting team, focusing on developing recruiter capability, strengthening search execution, driving consistency across the recruitment process, and partnering closely with Managing Directors and Partners to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and candidates.
Before joining McDermott + Bull, Julia spent 13 years at a boutique executive search firm where she specialized in the real estate industry and recruited senior leadership, including C-Suite and board positions across the United States.
Julia received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. She currently resides in Chicago with her husband and three children.
