IRVINE, California, March 22, 2014 – McDermott & Bull, a premier Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Heath Bowden as Senior Product Marketing Manager with BendixKing located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Rod McDermott, Managing Partner, and Brandon Biegenzahn, Principal Consultant, at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. According to Mr. Biegenzahn, “Heath has the ideal background as an avid pilot who has designed products specifically for pilots, and that, coupled with his personality and desire to innovate, make him the right “fit” for the organization.”
Mr. Bowden has over thirteen years of product management experience and five years of product management experience in general aviation. He has led and launched products that include dispatch controls that optimized flight plans at Jeppesen, charts for the iPad at Navtech and most recently worked on a commercial flight deck product for a large international airline. Additionally, Mr. Bowden is a commercial pilot with 500+ hours. He has received the Jeppesen Inventor Award and belongs to the Product Development and Management Association.
Mr. Bowden received his Bachelors of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics and Masters of Science in the Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota. He also received the ISM Scholarship for Doctoral Studies.
