McDermott & Bull hosted its 2nd Annual CEO/Private Equity Regional Summit at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel on March 22, 2017.

“This event allows us to connect our CEO relationships with our Private Equity friends.  Both parties ask us to do this on a regular basis, and this forum allows us to do it in a big way.  It was an extremely successful event, and we appreciate everyone who joined us,” said Chris Bull, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of McDermott & Bull.  With close to 100 of Southern California’s top CEOs and PE executives in attendance, it was an energizing and encouraging evening.  Many new business relationships were both built and re-kindled.

The event featured a keynote presentation from former Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Dave Camp.  Chairman Camp was a member of Congress for more than 24 years and served as Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means for the last five years.  Chairman Camp’s discussion covered a post-election debriefing, with a focus on how new tax policies are impacting corporate strategies.  An intriguing interactive Q&A session followed.  Bull added, “Chairman Camp is hopeful, and in fact optimistic, that we will see substantial tax reform over the coming four years.  He is an elegant speaker, and we appreciated his willingness to get all of us updated of the progress being made in this area.”

McDermott & Bull would like to acknowledge and thank Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Savills Studley, and Marsh & McLennan Companies for their sponsorship of this event.
