IRVINE, California, July 29, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced the successful appointment of Mr. Jay Shear as Senior Product Manager with Bendix King based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Rod McDermott, Managing Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search.
Mr. Shear has over 15 years of product management experience, having held lead roles at both Samsung and Epson on flagship printing and information technology product lines. Prior to joining Bendix King, he was the co-founder of Applied Technology Holdings based in Irvine, CA. Mr. Shear started Applied Technology with the goal of making interactive fitness, sports and healthcare products that remotely monitor and capture body motion data from wearable wireless sensors.
Mr. Shear is a Certified Instrument Flight Instructor; he has Single and Multi-Engine ratings with over 2600 hours total and over 600 twin engine hours.
