IRVINE, California, September 25, 2012 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Paul Hathaway as Strategic Marketing Manager with Bendix/King in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Rod McDermott, Managing Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. According to Mr. McDermott, “Paul’s experience in general aviation avionics, and in particular, his personal experience in the rotary wing aircraft field, made him an ideal choice to lead this product category for Bendix/King.”
Mr. Hathaway has over 12 years of product management experience dating back to Geographic Data Technology, and roughly 6 years of experience in the general aviation industry. Prior to joining Bendix/King, Mr. Hathaway was the Director of The Hathaway Family Foundation in Massachusetts, and earlier in his career, he was Director of Product Marketing at Avidyne Corporation, a general avionics company that pioneered the use of glass cockpits in small aircrafts. He is also an FAA certified multi-engine commercial pilot, an FAA certified rotorcraft pilot, and FAA airframe and power plant maintenance certified.
Mr. Hathaway obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinema from New York University, followed by his Masters of Arts in Cinema from New York University and his Basters of Business Administration from Franklin Pierce College.
